CULTURAL TRAIL PROJECT - SWARM STREET (INDIANAPOLIS, IN)
Tuttle is working with Acconci Studio of New York on the the Indianapolis Cultural Trails largest public art installation. Swarm Street is an interactive light environment that the creators compare to swarms of fireflies. More than 1,000 LED-lights will be embedded below you in the pavement plus another 1,000 will be installed in an open steel-framework above you. Movement from users on the trail will activate light sensors that “swarm” around the user and follow the movement through the space.

FEATURED PRODUCTS ON HGTV'S CURB APPEAL
"Tuttle Railing Systems is honored to be chosen as the glass handrail provider for the Devlin home project, on an upcoming episode of HGTV's Curb Appeal. We worked directly with the show architects, engineers, designers, and home owners to come up with a beautiful handrail that could be applied to an outdoor setting. Once the preliminary discussions were completed, we all settled on our Simo Rail product. Being able to side mount the railings was an important factor, considering they were installing glass block as their flooring for the balcony. Another important factor was using the stainless steel bar for posts. Combining bar as a post with glass panel infills really opens up the line of sight and creates a handrail that almost appears to be floating. And finally, the use of stainless steel as the metal really tied into all the other wonderful products that were be used for the home. Again, we are so honored to have worked on this project. We want to say thank you to all of the wonderful people we worked with, especially the Devlin family."

KANSAS CITY ROYALS STADIUM
Construction Manager: Hunt-Walton, A Joint Venture
Architect: HOK Sport
Cost: $250 Million
39,000 Seats
Reopened 2009
Tuttle Railing Systems recently completed their portion of the Kansas City Royals, Kauffman Stadium Renovation. Partnering with The Bratton Corporation and Hunt Construction, Tuttle fabricated over 12,000 LF of aluminum handrails throughout the renovated ballpark, and did so on time under difficult time constraints. Tuttle can't say thank you enough to Bratton, Hunt and all of the other professionals on this project who worked so hard to get this project finished in time for the 2009 Major League Baseball season.
"We've made the starting line-up in ballparks across the country!
As evidenced by the Kauffman Stadium Renovation, home to the Kansas City Royals, Tuttle has the capacity to run miles of fan-friendly rail. And when those 38,000 fans start rocking, you get to see just how though these rails are. Just in their rookie season, they'll take a pounding for years to come..."
